Description
LED Changeable (Variable- or Dynamic-) Message Sign (abbreviated CMS, VMS, DMS) displays high quality, full color information on freeways in real-time. Common signage applications include traffic congestion, maintenance operations, adverse weather conditions, roadway conditions, organized events or other highway features (toll booths, weigh stations, etc.). The housing design meets NEMA TS4 industry standards, making it equipped with sufficient weatherproofing. CMS LED optical system delivers superior contrast with minimal glare. The right- and left-hand door access and ground cabinet allow for quick, convenient access for maintenance. Available in 6 Caltrans approved sizes: CMS700C, CMS710C, CMS720C, CMS800 (Type 1 CMS), CMS810 (Type 2 CMS), CMS820 (Type 3 CMS).
